Debra Reed, President

Debra and FamilyDebra Reed (formerly Sirianni) is the President of Cooperstown Baseball World and was their very first employee. Now in her 20th season at CBW, Debra is responsible each year for recruiting all of the teams who participate each summer and she also oversees all aspects of their New Jersey office and Oneonta camp while in session each summer.

Growing up in New Jersey, Debra became very active in local sports programs at a very early age. Debra was named one of Bergenfield High School's Scholar Athletes. While holding academic honors, and being an assistant athletic trainer, Debra was also a four-year letter winner in both basketball and softball. She was Captain of both Varsity teams and led her softball team to two consecutive League Championships. Debra was honored her senior year by being named to the All-County Bergen Basketball and Softball teams as well.

Debra attended Kean University in NJ where she graduated with academic honors. She coached both youth basketball and softball throughout her college career as well. Her passion to see the players and families enjoy this unique experience drives her to work endless hours to ensure she and her staff get the job done! Debra currently resides in NJ with her husband Mike and their sons, who are also the camp mascots, Hunter and Chance. She currently coaches her son's baseball team and teases she will take a hiatus for the 20th season of Cooperstown Baseball World, which is when her oldest son will be eligible to play!




Patrick Harmer, Senior Tournament Director

Patrick HarmerPatrick Harmer is in his 19th season working for Cooperstown Baseball World. Pat spent 12 years as an umpire before becoming a Tournament Director. He began working as a Medic and on the grounds crew three years ago. Pat was promoted two years ago to the role of Assistant Tournament Director overseein the downtown fields in Neahwa Park.

Growing up in Delhi, NY, Pat played football, baseball, and wrestled. He attended SUNY Oswego, majoring in Business Administration. Having worked 10 years at a bank, and two years at a private company in their accounting departments, he decided to return to school to become a teacher. He graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor's degree in Adolescent Education Social Studies and a Masters Degree in Learning in Technology. Pat is currently a teacher at Morris Central School teaching Global History, Government and Personal Money Management. Pat also coaches Varsity Baseball and Varsity Football.

Pat resides in Oneonta with his wife Dawn and their children Christopher, Emily, and Cameron.





Matt Hafele, Assistant Tournament Director

Matt Hafele Matt Hafele is in his 20th season at Cooperstown Baseball World. Matt spent thirteen of those years working as an umpire for the various age groups, but has recently been promoted to Assistant Tournament Director, handling the 13u - 16u age divisions and the off campus fields.

Matt serves as the Athletic Director for the Unatego Central School District. Matt holds a Bachelors degree from SUNY Oneonta College in Elementary Education and a Masters degree from Walden University in Science Education. He worked in a teaching and coaching capacity for years before becoming the Athletic Director. He has overseen all Junior High, JV, and Varsity sports teams and coaches for the past 7 years. He currently is a Varsity Football and Baseball assistant coach as well. In addition, Matt coached American Legion Baseball in the summer for 12 years winning various tournaments and league titles. Matt, his wife Kelli, and daughters Mallory and Ella live in nearby Otego.
